TelePsychiatry Services

Are you feeling lonely or stressed out, worsened by the recent COVID-19 outbreak? Do you feel like you need someone to talk to, or medication adjustments? Do you feel you are experiencing a nervous breakdown and need help? We are here for you!

If you answered yes to any of these questions, we can help!

We are a team of mental health providers: Psychiatrist, Psychotherapists, Psychiatric and Advanced Nurse Practitioners, and Physician Assistants. We have been providing psychiatric and psychotherapy services to nursing and assisted living facilities for a decade. Considering the mental health consequences of the COVID-19 pandemic, we have bolstered our Telepsych (online psychiatry appointment) program.

We are now offering services to individuals who are living anywhere in Florida and need psychiatric support at home. During this COVID-19 outbreak, we are trying to help as many people as possible by making sure they receive the best possible psychiatric support- whether that be psychotherapy sessions with a LCSW/Psychologist/Counselor, or medication management with one of our psychiatry board-certified and experienced nurse practitioners, physician assistants, and psychiatrist. All of our providers are supervised by Dr. Pari Deshmukh, triple board-certified psychiatrist (in general psychiatry, addiction medicine, and integrative holistic medicine) and certified psychotherapist.

Telepsychiatry: online counseling

Why choose us?

• During this COVID-19 outbreak, almost everyone is suffering from tremendous emotional stress which can cause or exacerbate psychiatric issues such as depression, anxiety, post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD), panic attacks, bipolar disorder, mood swings, insomnia (sleep disturbances), anger, agitation, addiction, etc. These issues can go undetected until they become too much to handle. We can help by detecting and treating them early or before it becomes too much.

• We accept many insurances, as well as self-pay patients. See below for a list of acceptable insurances where you only pay co-pay, or if you do not have insurance, we charge affordable flat rate fees (also mentioned below).

• Save time and travel costs by booking an online appointment.

• No need to leave home as we can see you remotely via a HIPAA secure video chat with your phone, computer, or tablet. Help yourself, and the nation, by staying at home to minimize community spread.

• Appointments are confidential and private. Less stigma to seek the care you need.

• No wait times. Book appointments the same week, and possibly the same day! Don't delay your treatment.

• All of our providers are trained and experienced in psychiatry and psychological care, and are supervised by our renowned psychiatrist, Dr. Pari Deshmukh.

We use HIPAA compliant Zoom teleconference technology. It is free to use software which can be downloaded on your desktop, laptop, tablet, Android or Apple phone. For more information, please visit www.zoom.us

If for some reason, the Zoom platform does not work for your computer or phone, we have other easy-to-use platforms that we will discuss you’re your orientation phone call.

2. Is telepsychiatry equally effective as in-person visits?

Yes. Telepsychiatry appointments are of an equal standard of care as in person appointments. Telepsychiatry could be better as it reduces wait times, stigma, travel difficulties associated with going to office settings, and in the context of the COVID19 outbreak, telepsychiatry could help lower viral spread.

3. How do I make payments?

We accept payment through reputed secure and safe software: Stripe, Paypal, or Square. This will be handled by our office support team member who reaches out to you or as an integrated part of our website.

4. Which areas do you provide service to?

Our providers are licensed for the state of Florida. Using our telepsych program, we can provide services to the entire state of Florida.

5. Will I continue to receive Telepsych services even after the resolution of the COVID-19 outbreak?

Yes, if you are a self-pay patient, or a direct Medicare patient – there will be absolutely no barrier to the continued services that we have been providing to you.

If you have other insurances or a Medicare HMO/replacement plan, they may decline to cover Telepsychiatry services after the COVID-19 outbreak is resolved. If this is the case, we can continue to see you via Telepsych as a self-pay patient ($100 per follow up visit), or we can give you up to a 3 month medication prescription supply to support your transition to a local psychiatric provider.
